Accompany the tenant while they inspect the unit, record the existing condition and hand over the keys.

  • Record meter readings where relevant
  • Hand over the keys and note how many
  • Explain the rules and the manager's contact

At check-out

Inspect the unit with the tenant and compare it with the move-in record.

  • Compare the condition with the initial record
  • Note damage beyond normal wear
  • Receive the keys and count them
  • Calculate the refundable deposit

After check-out

Mark the unit as dirty, clean it, then change it to available so it can be booked again. Record the deposit refund and its reference.
